So there have been just too much hype about negative space, about how they can really ruin some beautiful pictures. But then, I came across something, just the opposite and it is unbelievable how beautiful can design really look with negative spaces. Most of us who don’t know negative spacing actually defines boundaries to the positive spaces and gives a balance to the complete composition. Positive and negative spaces together bring out the best of art. Let’s see some examples here.

The customer wanted to hide the cow, which is why it must append two cards to replenish the logo. And the firm specialized in Cattle, so Caroline Remy created this. Interesting, isn’t it?

This simple yet striking logo design is the personal logo study from Filipino designer Harvey Esparcia who uses this to bring together initials.
