Being a web development company there have to be certain processes to follow while designing altogether new websites, knowing what your client wants and then gradually putting each block together in a hierarchy to website launch and hence its maintenance. This is definitely not rocket science, all you need to know is keep the picture clear and organized in your mind about the effective design you are willing to build. Do not mind if there is too much scribbling or doodling during this process. Not that you may not be aware of how well to create it, but I am sure it is much easier for you when there is already a ‘Master Blue Print’ of the whole idea which will not just assemble your idea together but also bring quick progress.
